Steampunk beginnings

Matt's working with his Granddad's old watch parts to create new, industrial looking jewelry.  This jewelry line is still in the beginning stages, but I have to say, it's very cool.  He's got some incredible ideas and I can't wait to share the finished product with all of you!

I finally finished Niki's can order and got it shipped out to her on Friday.  I had so much fun working on these cans.  She's going to be putting tanning products and other goodies in the cans for her shop.  I can't wait to see them all filled up!  :)  (hint, hint Niki!) 

So, what's happening here at Mobley's Madness?  I'm about to start designing some custom coasters, some glass work, and a few other things, and Matt just got a huge shipment of Vintaj pieces for some jewelry designs that he's working on.  He's also working on some steampunk pieces.  Wondering what the heck steampunk is?  (yeah, I was, too...)  Go here:  http://www.ehow.com/about_5082813_steampunk-jewelry.html  It's pretty awesome!

On a personal note, I left Walgreens after 7 years on Friday.  My leaving was bittersweet, because, while I am excited about my new venture, Walgreens was my life and career for 7 years.  I'm leaving behind a lot of good friends and I hope they know that I will miss them terribly.  I'm taking a week off (YAY) and begin anew on Monday, the 10th.  I've taken a store manager position for Michaels in Bossier City!  I am SO excited!  My bank account, however, is not so excited.  haha

Busy, Busy!

It's been busy around the Mobley house!  We've been working on new designs and I think you're going to like them!  The only clue I'm going to give tonight is...  GLASS!
